An Apology.

He was right.

My brother was right.

He was right but now he's dead.

I'm sorry I saw it. I saw it.

It wasn't the one that took his leg.

It was worse.

He was right.

My brother is dead.

An Update #2

Hello all,

I have made it back to my family home after an extensive amount of travel. The house is currently abandoned and I have set up shop in the living room. The house itself backs directly onto the woods behind it so this will be the perfect base camp for my hunt for Stephen.

Unfortunately I have no physical help in this matter as Stephen and I are the last two remaining Ravencroft's. Our parents died long ago and far away from here. After my brother's accident we moved houses, never to return. Until now. My mother would tell me that it was too hard for Stephen to be around these woods, it would remind him of the accident. Just being around the trees sent him into a panic. So we moved to the city.

It feels wrong to be back here. It feels as though this house hasn't been lived in since we did.

I will set off in the morning, but for now I must get some sleep. I hope he is safe, I would not be able to forgive myself should something have happened  to him.

An Update

Hello all,

Once again this is Daniella. Over the past two days I have received emails from many of you both providing information and good wishes for the safety of my brother.

Although many of you played your part in contributing to Stephen's delusions, (which I do not blame you for) I feel that you deserve frequent updates. It is clear to me from the emails I have received that you all care for my brother dearly.

So far I have narrowed down my search to two sections of woodland. It was pointed out to me that Stephen believed he would be coming face to face with a creature he believes took his leg all those years ago. This suggests to me that he will be returning to the same woodlands where he had his accident.

I have also discovered that those woods have a sister woodland which I believe he would also have checked. This is where I will begin my search.

My brother is a very troubled individual. He was such a fun-loving and adventurous child but ever since he was struck by the tree that eventually took his leg he has been different. I am beginning to fear the worst for Stephen but I will not give up hope. With your support I will find my brother and get him the help we failed to see he needed.

I will update as frequently as I can.

Daniella.

An Appeal.

Hello all,

My name is Daniella  Ravencroft. My brother Stephen (Monzo, as he called himself here) ran this blog. I am here to appeal to any of you who may have any information regarding his whereabouts.

Before reading this blog (which I had no idea existed until I gained access to his computer) I was not aware of any expeditions my brother was planning. At first I thought he had set this blog up as a joke, a way to engage his imagination and to fantasise about a world where his condition wouldn't hold him back as much as it does. However, as I read I became much more aware of his paranoia and delusions.

I have read his entry which states he is being watched and that he has to get away, I fear he has gone somewhere he could have hurt himself. He is bound to a wheelchair and doesn't get out of the house much. But he hasn't been seen in almost a month.

I am incredibly worried about him and only want him to get back home safely. If anyone has any form of information then please share it with me via either the comments section on this webpage or email me at findstephen@gmail.com.

Thank you so much for any cooperation you can provide and please help me bring Stephen home.

Daniella.
